World Oceans Day Symposium

World Oceans Day 2024 introduces the multi-year theme: “Catalysing Action for Our Ocean & Climate,” emphasising the need for both global and local actions to ensure a healthier ocean and climate.

To celebrate World Oceans Day 2024, the Lekan Bakare Foundation, in partnership with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, organised a beach cleanup at Elegushi Beach, Lekki, on June 8, 2024, followed by a symposium on June 10, 2024, at the Rotunda Hall, Lekki Conservation Center.
