The Green Fingers Wildlife Conservation Initiative, in partnership with the Lekan Bakare Foundation and other notable organizations, successfully hosted the #Artivism Sea Turtle Awakening event on October 22, 2025, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
The event, themed “Sea Turtle Awakening,” brought together conservationists, artists, environmental advocates, and young changemakers to raise awareness on the urgent need to protect sea turtles and marine biodiversity in Nigeria. Through creative art expressions, panel discussions, and interactive exhibitions, participants explored the link between art and environmental advocacy — highlighting how creative platforms can inspire real-world conservation action.
The Lekan Bakare Foundation, as a proud partner, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting environmental sustainability and marine life protection. The foundation’s participation aligns with its broader mission to empower communities through education, environmental action, and social impact collaborations.
Other partners who powered the event include Eko Hotels & Suites, House of Pluto, SOL by The Boxmall Company, Murals.ng, Jara Beach Resort, Green Jobs Advisory, Figarr Fusion Studio, African Lending Hands Foundation, The Sanctuary at Turtle Bay, News Central, and Green Action Nigeria.
