Easter 2024 Beach Clean-Up

(Kids Beach, Elegunshi, Lagos)

We recorded a huge success at the Easter Beach Clean Up on Saturday 30th March, 2024!

Our heartfelt thanks to all our incredible volunteers and the officials of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) who joined the Lekan Bakare Foundation Team for this impactful event; your dedication made a massive difference for Lagos’ beautiful coastline. We collected tons of trash, preventing it from harming our precious ocean and marine life.

Every piece of plastic we removed means safer waters for fish, turtles, and countless other creatures. But the fight for a healthy ocean doesn’t end here!

Let’s continue to be active contributors: Reduce your plastic use, Help Spread Awareness, and join future clean-up efforts.
Together, we can create a cleaner, safer ecosystem for all.
